The tank is the transformer's vessel - and part of its cooling
The oil tank holds the core, windings and insulating oil, seals them from moisture and contamination, and - through its walls and corrugations - helps reject heat. A tank that leaks, traps dirt or distorts under vacuum will compromise the transformer it houses, no matter how good the active part is.
We fabricate oil tanks for the full transformer range, from compact distribution units to large power transformers, in three families.

Three tank families
| Family | Voltage / use | Signature features |
|---|---|---|
| Small corrugated tank | ≤ 35 kV | Corrugated-wall heat dissipation, no oil-collection dead corners, clean finish, attractive appearance |
| PV fuel tank | Solar PV plants and distributed PV | High sealing against moisture and impurities, efficient heat dissipation, long service life |
| Large oil tank | ≥ 110 kV | Large volume and capacity; houses core and windings under oil; heavy-plate fabrication |
Three tank families

Small corrugated tanks (≤ 35 kV)
The corrugated tank is formed from corrugated sheet, which adds stiffness and cooling surface at the same time. The tank body, corrugated wall and tank bottom are joined by mixed-gas automatic-protection welding for a clean, consistent seam. The corrugated design uses a return-flow oil-collection method with no dead corners, so oil stains do not accumulate and the unit keeps a neat appearance.
PV fuel tanks
Built for photovoltaic power stations and distributed PV systems, these tanks prioritise sealing: they isolate external impurities and moisture so the insulating oil stays clean, and dissipate transformer heat efficiently. The payoff for the plant is higher reliability, a lower failure rate, better power quality and longer equipment life.
Large oil tanks (≥ 110 kV)
For transformers above 110 kV, the tank becomes a large fabricated enclosure that holds the iron core and windings immersed in transformer oil. These are big, heavy-plate structures, produced on high-power laser equipment and precision machining lines by an experienced welding team - hundreds of skilled welders and technical managers behind every unit.
Welding & cleanliness
A transformer tank is structurally complex, with many welds and dead corners, and its internal cleanliness is critical - residual scale or contamination directly affects the transformer's electrical performance. We control it at source with dedicated equipment:
Mixed-gas automatic-protection welding for sound, repeatable seams.
Fully automatic flushing to clean the interior.
Shot blasting to prepare the surface.
Automatic painting and spraying for a durable, uniform finish.
Production line

KETA Robot Welding Positioner
KETA robotic welding positioner. It works with welding robots to rotate and clamp workpieces, enabling all-position welding for radiator groups.

Robotic Welding Station
Automatic robotic welding cell. Six-axis welding robot completes stable, high-quality welding of radiator assemblies and transformer tanks.

Fiber Laser Cutting Machine
This is a fiber laser cutting machine. It performs precision cutting of steel plates, used to cut raw sheets into required profiles for transformer radiators and tank components.

Radiator Fin Forming Press Line
Hydraulic forming production line for radiator fins. It continuously presses flat sheets into corrugated radiator fin profiles with standard dimensions.

Laser Tube Cutting Machine
Laser pipe cutting machine. It cuts and processes steel pipes for radiator headers, brackets and structural parts with high accuracy.

Vacuum Drying Oven
Vacuum drying furnace. It removes moisture from transformer parts and insulation materials under vacuum and high temperature, to guarantee insulation performance of transformers.

Coil Feeding & Stamping Production Line
Uncoiler and stamping forming line. Aluminum/steel coil is unrolled, fed continuously and stamped into radiator fin sheets automatically. This is the core forming process for chip radiators.

CNC Press Brake
CNC bending machine. It bends steel plates to form transformer tank shells, support frames and other structural parts.
