Transformer Bushing

Transformer Bushing is an insulating structural component installed on the transformer housing. Its main function is to connect the high-voltage conductive part inside the transformer with the external circuit while ensuring good electrical insulation and sealing performance.

1. Function
--Electrical insulation

Insulates the space between the high-voltage conductor inside the transformer and the grounded metal shell.

--Mechanical support

Supports the internal conductor of the transformer to ensure a stable electrical connection.

--Conductive connection

Allows high-voltage current to flow from the inside of the transformer to the external transmission line (or vice versa).

2.Structural composition
--Transformer Bushing Porcelain body:

Usually made of high-strength electric porcelain, with good voltage resistance and pollution resistance.

The surface is an umbrella-shaped folded structure, which is used to increase the leakage path and improve the anti-pollution flashover capability.

--Conductive core rod:

The conductive part inside the bushing, connecting the transformer coil with the external wire.

--Flange or metal accessories:

Used to fix the bushing on the transformer tank and keep it sealed.
