Also known as Insulation Teflon Cloth Tape (Teflon tape), Teflon adhesive tape, PTFE tape, etc. The production process of PTFE fiberglass tape uses imported glass fiber yarns coated with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) resin to produce PTFE fiberglass cloth. A layer of silicone high-temperature pressure-sensitive adhesive is then coated on the surface of the PTFE high-temperature cloth to manufacture PTFE fiberglass tape. The structural diagram is shown below:
This tape is coated with polytetrafluoroethylene and silicone high-temperature pressure-sensitive adhesive on its surface, so it has a smooth surface and excellent non-stick performance. It does not easily adhere to any substances, and all oil stains, smudges or other attachments stuck to its surface, such as paste, resin and paint, can be easily removed. It resists chemical corrosion, including strong acids, strong alkalis, water and various organic solvents. It features chemical resistance, non-toxicity, high temperature resistance and outstanding insulation performance. It can be used at temperatures ranging from -70°C to 260°C, and boasts weather resistance and anti-aging properties.

Application
It is widely applied in packaging, heat sealing, lamination, heat sealing sealing, electronics, electrical and other industries. It is suitable for bonding positions requiring non-stick, heat-resistant, corrosion-resistant and insulating properties, and can be reattached repeatedly. PTFE fiberglass tape reinforced with woven fabrics features high tensile strength. It can be used on calender rollers, heat-sealing demolding and other industrial applications, reusable and easy to replace. It can be directly attached to various flat surfaces and regular curved surfaces (such as rollers) with simple operation.
The conventional 0.18mm thick PTFE fiberglass tape is composed of a 0.10mm glass fiber cloth layer, a 0.03mm PTFE coating layer and a 0.05mm high-temperature pressure-sensitive adhesive layer. Its basic parameters are listed in the table below:

Conventional Specifications and Technical Parameters of PTFE (Teflon) Tape
Standard widths are 1m or 1.25m, lined with yellow release paper. The standard roll length is 50m; small rolls without release paper are generally 10m long. Custom slitting into small precise sizes is available. Tape total thickness can be produced ranging from 0.13mm to 0.40mm. Common colors are brown, black and white.
