Description

PTFE-coated tape is a functional tape made from a fiberglass cloth (or film) backing, uniformly coated with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE, also known as Teflon or a non-stick coating), and backed with a high-temperature, pressure-sensitive silicone adhesive.

It combines the non-stick, high-temperature, and corrosion-resistant properties of PTFE with the mechanical strength of fiberglass cloth. It is widely used in industry, electronics, electrical insulation, and high-temperature operations.

advantages

● Good high temperature resistance: it can be used between low temperature -196°C and high temperature 300°C, and can still ensure safety when used continuously at 260°C, and can be placed continuously at 250°C for 200 days, the strength will not be reduced and the weight will not be reduced; Leaving it at 350°C for 120 hours reduces weight by only about 0.6%.

● Excellent anti-sticking: the surface is smooth, not easy to adhere to the substance, all kinds of oil stains, stains or adhesions are easy to clean, and the melted packaging film "slag" will not stick to the heater.

● Strong chemical corrosion resistance: It can resist the corrosion of strong acids, strong alkalis, aqua regia and various organic solvents.
