Humidity requirement: Relative humidity not exceeding 95% at +20°C.
Installation method: The relay pipeline axis should be parallel to the transformer oil tank cover. The end leading to the oil conservator may be slightly higher, but the axis should not be tilted more than 4% from the horizontal.
Protection level: IP55 (upgradeable to IP65 upon request)
The QJ series Transformer gas relay is a safety protection device for oil-immersed transformers. Installed on the pipe connecting the transformer's oil tank cap and conservator, it can be equipped with a gas duct and a gas sampling box to facilitate ground-level exhaust sampling. When a fault within the transformer causes the insulating fluid to decompose and produce gas, or causes oil surges, the gas relay's contacts activate, connecting the designated circuit and promptly issuing an electrical signal or automatically disconnecting electrical equipment, thereby protecting the transformer's safe operation.
