Electrical laminated wood boards have been widely used in oil-immersed transformers to make upper and lower pressure plates, lead brackets, iron yoke pads, and other parts, and are used to make clamps in transformers. It replaces steel plates, insulating cardboard, and epoxy cardboard, The application of epoxy glass cloth panels in these aspects reduces the weight and material costs of the transformer. Electrical laminated wood boards are veneer thin sheets made from high-quality wood such as birch, colored wood, and ash wood, which are steamed, rotary cut, and dried. They are coated with special insulating glue and processed under high temperatures and high pressure.

Electrical Laminated Wood should be stored in a clean and dry room with temperature not exceeding 40℃ and should be laid flat wise on a stepping-board which is at least 50mm from the ground, never close to fre source, heat source and protected against moisture.
