FAQ
Q:Where is the bushing on a transformer?
A:The bushings on a padmount are always in the cabinet on the front of the unit with low-voltage bushings on the right and the high-voltage bushings on the left. Substation transformers can have the bushings located almost anywhere on the unit.
Q:What happens when a bushing goes out?
A:Often overlooked, bushing failure can cause a ripple effect of pressure and wear on surrounding components. This wear ultimately results in additional loading and pressure on the steering, suspension and driveline components. Over time, this constant stress contributes to accelerated part failure.
Q:Why do transformer bushings fail?
A:Bushing leaks developing over time in operation – Most commonly, bushing leaks are caused by ageing or by improper gaskets, as well as the weak adhesion between the epoxy and the conductor.
Q: Are you trading company or manufacturer?
A: We are manufacturer, having our own factories.
Q: Do you provide samples ? is it free or extra?
A: Yes, we can provide free samples, you only need to cover the shipping cost.
Q: How long is your delivery time?
A: Generally, if the goods are in stock, shipment can be arranged within 3 working days;
If the goods need to be mass produced, delivery time may be around 7-10 working days.
