Products Description
Porcelain Insulator is an electrical insulation component made of porcelain material, mainly used in high-voltage transmission lines, substations and power equipment to support the conductor and keep it electrically insulated from the ground part to prevent current leakage or short circuit.
We provide various types of insulators: 1KV/250A, 1KV/630A, 1kv/2000A, 10NF250, XP70, etc.
Advantages in typical application scenarios
- High-voltage transmission lines: The number of suspension porcelain insulator strings can be flexibly increased or decreased to adapt to different voltage levels (such as 110kV, 500kV).
- Substation: When supporting the busbar, the pillar porcelain insulator has strong bending resistance and high stability.
- Harsh environment: In industrial pollution areas or salt spray areas, porcelain insulators can maintain their performance through regular cleaning, which is economical and practical.

FAQ
Q:What is the difference between a bushing and an insulator?
A:Function: Electrical insulators are used to provide insulation and support to electrical components and equipment, while electrical bushings are used to provide a pathway for conductors or cables to enter or exit an electrical enclosure while maintaining electrical isolation.
Q:What is the purpose of a transformer bushing?
A:In electric power, a bushing is a hollow electrical insulator that allows an electrical conductor to pass safely through a conducting barrier such as the case of a transformer or circuit breaker without making electrical contact with it.
Q:Why do transformer bushings fail?
A:Bushing leaks developing over time in operation – Most commonly, bushing leaks are caused by ageing or by improper gaskets, as well as the weak adhesion between the epoxy and the conductor.
Q:Can you make our design for the package?
A:Yes, please send us the design you need ,we will value the price and make the exact same package basing on your design.
