Composite Tension Insulator is an insulating component used in high-voltage transmission lines, specially designed to withstand line tension and provide good electrical insulation performance. It is composed of silicone rubber, glass fiber reinforced core rod and metal end, and has the characteristics of light weight, high strength and excellent pollution flashover resistance.
Application
Power system: Polymer insulators are widely used in power systems, especially in low-voltage transmission lines and urban distribution networks. They can withstand voltage and mechanical stress, ensuring the safe and stable operation of the power system.
Main applications:
Transmission lines (110kV-1000kV): Suitable for ultra-high voltage (UHV) and extra-high voltage (EHV) transmission lines.
