Crepe Paper is a specialized electrical insulating material manufactured from high-purity cellulose pulp and processed through a controlled creping technique.
It is widely used in oil-immersed transformers as part of the oil-paper insulation system, providing both electrical insulation and mechanical stress absorption.
The unique creped structure allows the paper to stretch and adapt to conductor movement caused by thermal expansion, vibration, and short-circuit forces, ensuring long-term insulation reliability.
Thickness: 0.08 mm – 0.50 mm
Roll width: 10 mm – 1000 mm
Roll diameter/length: Customized according to customer's equipment and packaging requirements
Typical Applications
Electrical Insulation Crepe Paper is commonly used for:
Layer insulation in transformer windings
Wrapping and insulation of lead-out conductors
