Description
Aerospace Honeycomb Core：A lightweight, high-strength composite material with a hexagonal honeycomb structure made of meta-aramid fiber (Nomex®), which has ultra-high specific strength, high temperature resistance and flame retardant properties, and is specially used as a sandwich core material for aerospace, rail transportation and high-end equipment.
Aerospace Honeycomb Core Key parameters (according to ASTM C365/C393 standards):
- Density range: 24kg/m³~96kg/m³ (honeycomb aperture 1.8mm~12.7mm)
- Compression strength: ≥3.5MPa (density 48kg/m³, ASTM C365)
- Heat resistance: long-term temperature resistance 200℃, short-term temperature resistance 250℃
- Flame retardancy: UL94 V-0 (self-extinguishing time <5 seconds)

Micropore type (1.8mm~3.2mm, suitable for precision instrument shock absorption)
Standard type (4.8mm~6.4mm, general structural core material)
Macropore type (9.5mm~12.7mm, used for ultra-lightweight components)
2/Functional treatment:
Phenolic impregnation (improved moisture and heat resistance, water absorption rate <0.8%)
Conductive coating (surface resistance <1Ω/sq, EMI shielding)
3/Conventional specifications:
Thickness: 5mm~50mm (tolerance ±0.1mm)
Panel width: 1200mm×2400mm (customizable slitting)
