Description

Definition: EPDM Foam is a closed-cell/open-cell foam made of EPDM rubber (EPDM) through chemical or physical foaming process. It has excellent weather resistance, elasticity and waterproof sealing performance and is widely used in automobiles, construction, electronics and other fields.

Key ingredients:

EPDM rubber (ethylene-propylene-diene monomer, accounting for 60-80%)

Foaming agent (azodicarbonamide, in line with environmental standards)

Additives (antioxidants, flame retardants, etc.)

Weather resistance: anti-ultraviolet (UV) aging, outdoor service life ≥ 10 years (ASTM G154 accelerated aging test, tensile strength retention rate > 85%)

Temperature range: -50℃~+150℃ stable operation (compared with silicone glass fiber casing, which is resistant to high temperatures but more expensive)

Waterproof sealing: closed cell rate ≥ 90%, water absorption rate < 1% (ASTM D1056 test)

Compression permanent deformation: ≤ 20% (70℃×22h, ASTM D395-B)

Environmental protection: halogen-free, no sulfide volatilization (passed SGS VOC test)
